1. Book the date first
Fridays and Saturdays in December go first: venues, DJs and equipment are booked weeks ahead. If those dates are taken, consider a weekday evening in mid-December or a New Year party in the first half of January. Teams are often more relaxed after the holiday rush.
2. Choose the format
The format decides the budget, the atmosphere and the equipment you need.
- In your office: easy for everyone to attend, compact set-up, lighting turns the space into a party
- Restaurant: dinner and dance floor in one place
- Hotel ballroom: for large teams, a stage and awards
- Villa or rooftop: a private, relaxed evening
3. Plan the programme
A good corporate evening has a clear rhythm. A typical flow:
- Arrival and welcome drinks with background music
- Speech from management and awards
- Dinner with music at a comfortable volume
- Year-in-review video or photos on the screen
- Dance party, with an optional karaoke block
4. Music for an international team
Most teams in Cyprus are international: English, Russian, Ukrainian, Greek and many other speakers in one room. I build the set around international hits and add the team's wishes. Collect a few must-play songs in advance and send them with the request.
5. Equipment checklist
My team brings all of it, so you have one contact for the DJ, sound, light, stage and screens.
- Sound sized for the number of guests and the room
- Wireless microphone for speeches and awards
- Party lighting for the dance floor
- LED screen or TV for the video, presentation or photos
- Stage for awards or performers
- Karaoke for the most fun part of the night
6. Do you need a host?
I do not work as an MC, but I work with all the leading hosts in Cyprus and can recommend one who fits your team and language.
